261 North University Drive, Plantation, FLI am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than eight years of experience in healthcare and a strong background in psychiatric services. I began my medical career in Cuba, where I earned my medical degree from the University of Medical Sciences of Havana “Calixto García.” After moving to the United States, I earned my nursing degree and later completed a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in family practice.
Throughout my career, I have worked in psychiatric care, women’s health, transitional care, pain management, and primary care. I support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health concerns. I am committed to helping each client feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care.
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than 20 years of nursing experience, complemented by specialized education and clinical expertise in psychiatry and psychopharmacology. I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where every patient is treated with dignity, respect, and empathy.
My approach is collaborative and patient-centered, empowering individuals to actively participate in their mental health journey. I work closely with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, psychotherapy, lifestyle modifications, and complementary approaches such as nutrition, exercise, and other evidence-based interventions. My goal is to help patients build resilience, improve their overall well-being, and achieve lasting, meaningful improvements in their mental health and quality of life.
