I am a board-certified, bilingual (English/Spanish) psychiatrist who is passionate about understanding my clients at a deeper level and helping them find the emotional wellbeing they seek. After finishing my residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System, where I served as a Chief Resident, I completed a two-year interpersonal psychoanalysis course at the William Alanson White Institute in New York City.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist with expertise in medication management, psychoanalysis, CBT and mindfulness-based therapy. I also have expertise in interventional treatments and work as a clinical professor at Northwell Zucker Hillside Hospital. I work with adults and have openings in the evening and weekends for busy working professionals. I specialize in treating a wide array of conditions: Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Social Anxiety, ADHD and Insomnia. At this time, I am only taking patients who are interested in medication management not individual therapy. I also do not take patients needing medical leave from work.

I have worked as an Emergency Room Nurse for over 10 years, then decided to continue my education and become a psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I earned my Master's degree from Stony Brook University in 2022 and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Molloy College. I have gained experience in outpatient psychiatric offices as well as working in inpatient psychiatric units. I have specialized in managing diagnoses such as ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and major depression. My goal is to help patients who have difficulty finding a provider and, hopefully, provide them with virtual access to psychiatric care to support their needs.
