Reaching out for help can be a BIG deal and I am here to make therapy a space where you can grow, be challenged, and learn how to live a life YOU are happy with. Have you been feeling an increase in Anxiety? Are you a young adult trying to navigate the world and figuring out where you fit? How about someone experiencing substance misuse? These are the areas I get excited to help people manage. My goal is to help you gain the control you deserve to have over your own life.
Have you considered talking to someone but you’re not sure where to start? As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am trained in working with people and specialize in young adults, as well as treating co-occurring disorders. I believe individuals experiencing addiction are often times also managing mental health symptoms. I treat the WHOLE person.
I have over 10 years of experience working with both adults and youth. I'm licensed in California and have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness.
I really believe in people's ability to find solutions to their challenges. I use neuroscience principles and offer sincere, accepting care to my clients. I am trained in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) and in Collaborative Problem Solving. I actively use the modalities of: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also implement several aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Experiential Therapy.
I’ve worked in the social services field for 20 years and have been practicing as a therapist since 2022. I have worked with navigating childhood trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, relationship patterns, identity, and the challenges that come with being a human in a complicated world. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients, men, and parents who are interested in understanding themselves more deeply and making meaningful changes in their lives. My personality shows up in the therapy room—I’m warm, curious, direct, and not afraid to bring in humor when we need it.
You want to feel heard and understood, yet something is still missing—like you’re carrying more than you should on your own. If you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, or feeling disconnected from yourself, you’re not alone. Using a holistic and mindful approach, I help clients reduce emotional pain, manage unwanted symptoms, and reconnect with a stronger sense of self through self-compassion and intentional self-care.
I am a trauma-certified CBT therapist who supports individuals in building confidence, self-worth, and emotional resilience. I specialize in working with anxiety, anger management, relationship challenges, and trauma, including experiences of sexual abuse. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique needs.
When you begin to prioritize yourself, meaningful changes can happen—not only within you, but in your relationships as well. Together, we’ll focus on creating lasting growth by strengthening the skills and inner resources you already have.
Three ideas are at the heart of my work: You are not the problem; the problem is the problem; the problem is not yours alone to solve. Therapy with me is a space for you to explore and be affirmed in your identity, while understanding the ways you came to be and are still becoming.
I have been working in a therapeutic setting for almost 10 years. I use my strengths of being open-minded, non-judgmental, and wanting the best life for others. We live life often wearing a mask to meet expectations, but may not have the safe environment to allow ourselves to confront our issues in order to become the best versions of ourselves. I strive to provide a space where you can be vulnerable and share your true self. I started working with children and adults with autism doing ABA therapy. I completed my graduate program at University of San Diego. I began my MFT career working in outpatient alcohol and substance addiction programs. Then I was in a private practice, mostly doing couple's therapy and some individual therapy. Currently I work with justice-involved youth in a correctional facility. Due to my diverse background with work experiences, I am specialized to work with a variety of clients on a multitude of issues. I welcome both individual and couple's therapy.

My practice is affirming and welcoming to all. I am most passionate about helping asian Americans navigate cultural/relational issues and helping first generation adult professionals heal from trauma, redefine their identities, and create relationships they actually want to be in.
