In my 25 years in therapy I've worked with a wide range of clients across all backgrounds and age groups. My approach is person-centered and solution-focused, meaning that I meet you where you are. From there we'll work together to find strategies that support your unique needs and goals.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with 14 years of experience working with adolescents, young adults as well as adults with complex medical ailments I bring a deep understanding of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges that can impact your mental health. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling to cope with change, or simply looking for greater balance in your life, I am committed to meeting you where you are and helping you move forward with confidence.
I began my career as a Fulbright Scholar, conducting research on traditional medicine in Sochi, Russia. I presented my work at the United States Embassy in Moscow, highlighting cross-cultural perspectives in healthcare and integrative practice.
After completing my grant, I attended New York University (NYU). I then completed a residency at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. I went on to earn my doctorate from the University of San Diego, California, where I focused on digital telehealth treatment for psychiatric care.
I am passionate about working with Veterans and individuals experiencing Depression, Anxiety, and Mood Disorders. In 2023, I completed CIIS training in psychedelic-assisted therapy. In 2025, I was among the first providers in Colorado and in the country to become licensed as a psilocybin facilitator.
As someone who identifies as neurodivergent (ADHD) and part of a blended, mixed-race family, I value creating a safe, inclusive space that honors each person’s unique background and needs.
My path to becoming a mental health provider grew out of a combination of personal experience, professional curiosity, and a deep desire to help others feel empowered in their own lives. Early experiences with trauma shaped the way I understand healing, resilience, and the importance of having support during life’s most overwhelming moments. While challenging, those experiences ultimately planted the seed for what would become my career.
I am deeply interested in the ways people adapt, survive, and make meaning out of hardship. This led me to pursue formal training in trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, along with a commitment to ongoing continuing education. Over more than a decade of practice, I have supported individuals navigating trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, family violence, grief, and major life transitions.
